Michael Rodriguez is a 2016 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Land O' Lakes, FL who attends Sunlake HS. Slender projectable young build. High 3/4's arm action, medium effort at release, arm action is smooth in back and coming through, gets good angle to the plate, will come over the top of the ball and pronate at release. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 75 mph, gets good running action at times when coming over top with a screwball effect, primary fastball pitcher who threw strikes and made hitters swing. Rare curveball and change up still need to be developed. Was effective for four innings and competed well. Left handed hitter, spread stance with a rotational upper body swing, pull hitter, aggressive early in counts.
