Chantz Stover is a 2016 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from South Bend, IN who attends Clay High School. Well built frame with present strength throughout. High energy delivery from a 3/4 arm slot that creates extension on release. Arm action is quick and short on delievery. Fastball has good arm side life ranging from 78-81 mph. Showed a shorter slider with some tilt. Effectively ran slider in on left handers showing bat breaking ability. Slider topped at 70 mph. Also showed a 12/6 curveball with some depth to change off speed plane ranging from 65-66 mph. Flased a changeup that topped at 66 mph. Slider was primary off speed. Held velocity well throughout outing. Good student as well.
