Adam Greenberg is a 6' 185 pound 2006 outfielder and left handed pitcher who attends Dublin High School in Dublin, California. He has a compact swing with good line drive capability. Adam ran a 7.54 60 and touched 85 from the outfield. He has a balanced left handed swing with some strength and the ability to center the ball. Greenberg uses all fields well and should be able to produce some runs and hit for an average as well. He has a middle of the line up type bat with some bat speed and projection to get better. Adam made an outstanding play in the game by coming in very aggressively on a single to him in leftfield and throwing the runner out trying score at the plate. On the mound, he topped out at 82 mph with a 68 mph breaking ball. He has a 3/4 arm slot with good command and he knows how to spot the ball well. Greenberg hides the ball well to give hitters a late look and his breaking ball is tough on left handed hitters with a big break and good tilt on it. He has some arm speed out front with an even tempo delivery and late energy to finish. Adam is a solid overall player with good upside to his left handed swing and will be effective at the next level. Adam is also a good student.
