Jake Suddleson is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Large frame, lean athletic build with wiry loose strength. Good athlete, good energy and speed coming to the ball, doesn't carry momentum through throwing motion to generate the kind of velocity that his raw tools should allow him to create but can get more out of those tools, accurate throws from the outfield, arm works well. Short compact rotational swing with a pull approach, leg kick trigger, solid bat speed and well coordinated swing actions. Impressive on the mound and a two-way prospect. Pitches from a high three quarters arm slot with a well balanced delivery and a long arm circle. Long stride towards home plate with solid momentum and very good balance to delivery, solid fastball command and good depth and hard spin on curveball. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
