Cameron Haynes is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lithonia, GA who attends Stephenson. Large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, low exchange of the ball, shows nice carry on throws down to second base, gains ground with lower half, full arm action with strength that will continue to develop on throws. Short steps to the ball in the infield, short arm action from a lower slot on accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins swing with a still start and an upright stance. Low effort swing with a short path to the ball, creates extension out front with lift in swing path, generates nice bat speed with ability to create contact to all fields.
