Zach Grech is a 2016 RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman HS. Medium, lean, athletic build with projection and room to add more strength. Works exclusively from stretch, easy, deliberate delivery with large leg lift. Quick, tight arm-action to a low 3/4 slot, works quickly through backside to extension, some recoil at release. Works consistently in low-80s, fastball up to 84 mph with good life to arm side, plays especially well down in the strike zone. Good feel for changeup with fade that plays well off fastball, maintains good armspeed on pitch. Also mixes in a slow low-60s that changes hitters' eye levels and timing. Excellent student.
