Tate Frodsham is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney North HS. Has a long lean build with plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional strength. Posted a 7.29 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher that throws from a low 3/4 arm slot with good extension out in front and looseness. Fast paced tempo and delivery and manages to get some plane and arm side run when working down in the zone. Curveball has 9/4 shape with sweeping action with big break. Changeup has some fading action. Good deception in delivery keeping hitters off balanced. From the infield, sits back on the baseball with clean transfers and accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set and high back elbow. Hands extend deep on load to activate swing. Full swing with solid bat speed, opposite field approach. Excellent student.
