Zach Norman is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends The Kings Academy High School. Medium frame with a strong build and compact lower half. Posted an impressive 6.97 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, showed good bounce out of set with an accurate arm and a top pop time of 2.14 in workouts. At the plate, started with an even base and a high hand set with a high back elbow. Showed good bat speed and intent through his swing with elevation and present feel for the barrel. Torques well through his lower half with good jump off of the barrel and sound timing of his barrel release. Very good student.
