James Herold is a 2016 OF/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Greenwood Village, CO who attends Cherry Creek HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength. Right handed hitter, has quick hands at the plate, tends to get too inside at times, best bat speed and contact when aggressive and pulling the ball, can get to short at times and not get any separation, has the strength and tools to develop as a hitter. 7.20 runner, moves to the ball well in the outfield, exaggerated crow hop, tends to throw uphill, has raw arm strength that is projectable with more on line throws. Also plays third base. Good student.
