Sam Davidson is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, big shift into contact, loose extended swing with some bat speed, pull line drive contact, shows some gap power at times, pretty strong overall swing mechanics and should continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.28 runner, shows good quickness behind the plate, has a quick and consistent release on throws, 1.97 best pop time, threw well in games, footwork blocking can still improve, base tends to be too narrow at times. Also pitch, full delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, filled up the zone with a 78 mph fastball, soft slurve type breaking ball from a lower arm slot.
