Kevin Bryant Il is a 2016 1B/LHP with a 6-1 203 lb. frame from Dora, AL who attends Corner HS. Big and strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, quick hands and a compact stroke, quick to the ball with bat speed, has some lift at contact and balls carry well, recognizes pitches well and squares the ball up, has hitting tools. Polished actions at first base defensively, very soft hands with solid footwork around the bag, good arm strength for the position. Also pitched, over the top arm slot, lands open and falls off to the third base side, can improve balance at release. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, soft curveball. Good student. Named to the Southeast Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
