Josh Petit is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Charleston, WV who attends George Washington HS. Large frame, solid, sturdy build with good present strength. Shows good flexibility, bend in the infield, has solid overall fundamentals with soft hands and nice footwork. Developing arm strength, accurate throws from high arm slot. Left handed hitter, wide base with big weight shift. Hand drop trigger, has strength that shows up when able to square up the baseball. Flashes some hand quickness, nice up the middle approach. Great student.
