Ross Cappo is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West HS. Cappo has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he throws with a long arm action with arm strength up to 81 MPH. He has quick feet and can cover ground. Cappo has solid outfield actions with a big crow hop on throws. At the plate, Cappo has a rotational swing and has an aggressive approach. He has some bat speed and made some hard contact to the pull side. Cappo has some gap pop and the ball comes off his bat well when he squares it up. Outstanding student.
