2014 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Adam Quine is a 2015 OF/1B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Chappaqua, NY who attends Horace Greeley. Extra-large, athletic build with wide shoulders, projectable frame and nice present strength that plays in game. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and gets body behind it, sound mechanics, full arm action with an over the top arm slot, shows some strength on throws with carry to intended base. Throws from a three-quarter arm action on the mound, filling up the strike zone with his fastball that topped at 78 mph and showed a nice feel for spotting to glove side with run to arm side. Right-handed hitter, starts with a tall, upright stance and a high hand set. Shows a quick swing with fast hands and nice extension at contact. Creates leverage in swing with good jump and carry off the barrel, strong feel for the barrel and strength to all fields. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
