Stephen Palis is a 2015 SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Glen Mills, PA who attends Garnet Valley. Athletic, quick twitch build with a lean frame and room to fill out with added strength. Strong runner, posted a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays low and works through the ball, moves well on feet and flashed range, quick transfer and release, smooth arm with more strength coming across, moves well charging in. Right-handed batter, starts from an upright stance, pulls hands back at start of swing. Line drive swing plane, shows good bat speed with some carry off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Good pitch recognition, creates hard contact. Excellent student.
