Ryan Hartman is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from University Park, TX who attends Highland Park HS. Medium build and a slender frame, room to fill as he continues to mature physically. From the infield, long arm action with good arm speed. Good actions and lateral movement. Arm strength will continue to develop as he gets stronger. Switch hitter at the plate. From the right side, starts with a wide base and high hand set. Extension throughout swing, pull side approach. From the left side, starts with a wide base and an upright stance. Smooth, fluid swing on a line drive swing plane. Lets the ball travel, opposite field approach. Looks to lift the baseball after the point of contact. On the mound, right-handed pitcher that throes from 3/4 arm slot. Long arm action with developing arm speed. Occasional cut on fastball. Developing secondary pitches. Outstanding student.
