Zack Ingram is a 2016 RHP/SS with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Vestavia Hills HS. Tall and slender build, lots of room to get stronger, long arms and legs, projects well physically. Gets tall over the rubber in his delivery, will rush through his balance point and fly open with his front side at times, long and loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot and will occasionally get lower, has some deception in his delivery but it can be difficult to repeat. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, move velocity in there with additional strength and some adjustments, gets very good running life at times but tends to pitch in the middle of the zone. Change up gets nice fading action as well. Early breaking slider with good depth at times and occasional 2-plane shape. Right handed hitter, high hand start, big leg raise/pull back load, big lift and pull swing with some raw bat speed and power potential, aggressive hitter. Good student.
