Daniel (Danny) Harris IV is a 2017 SS/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Miller Grove HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and soft hands play well, smooth and quick release, shows nice quickness to actions, ball comes out of hand cleanly, shows carry across with accuracy, projects with refined footwork at release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow and front foot turned in at start of swing, comes out of it well and stays short to the ball with swing plane. Quick hands, gets inside but can turn the ball, ball comes off well when squared. Works all fields, shows fluidity to hands and swing with extension out front, has nice tools that still project. Named to World Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student. Committed to Eastern Kentucky.
