Omar Sanchez is a 2015 C/UT with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Winton, CA who attends Atwater. Compact frame, thick strong build. Good balance to short swing with good extension, line drive swing plane. Good approach in game at-bats, recognized spin well on offspeed stuff and stayed back to drive them well. Blocked well in games, quick release on throws, solid receiver with quick actions, solid arm, stood out defensively. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
