Julian Burgess is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength. Switch-hitter, similar swing approaches and bat speeds from both sides of the plate, still hand start with a limited trigger, balanced stance, swings hard and has some natural lift in his swing, mid field approach, can improve with better hitting rhythm and pre-swing trigger. 7.22, runs the bases aggressively, high energy player. Athletic player on defense, has some range, has good hands, upper half thrower with a long arm action, makes accurate throws, second base tools. Very good student.
