Colton Whitehouse is a 2015 2B/C/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Mansfield HS. Large, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, moves well on feet and circles the ball nicely, short arm action with arm strength across, getting on top of throws will create more carry. Fields the ball out front from the outfield with strength on throws. Accurate throws from behind the plate, receives out front, arm strength will continue to develop with incorporation of lower half. Left-handed hitter, starts with a bent knee stance and a low hand set. Moving parts with wrapped start in swing, shows a nice feel for the barrel with extension out front. Swings hard and creates bat speed with leverage in swing, shows a feel to hit to pull side. Very good student.
