2015 Mid Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Dwayne Marshall is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Piscataway, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory HS. Has a physically impressive, well proportioned body, mature look with clear sign of upper body strength. Posted a 7.31 60-yard dash. From the infield, showed athletic actions to the baseball while fielding the ball out in front. Short arm action on throws with raw arm strength getting up to 85 MPH, was also able to stay on top of throws and generate carry. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, high hand set, and high back elbow. Stays short to the baseball and is able to generate lift at the point of contact. Ball really flies when he gets extension, developing consistently with the barrel. On the mound, throws from an over the top arm slot producing downward plane on his fastball. Long arm action with a high energy and good tempo to his delivery. Curveball has 12/6 shape while changeup is straight from the same slot as his fastball. Named to Mid Atlantic Top Prospect List.
