Jarrett Bamburg is a 2016 OF with a 6-0 173 lb. frame from Bossier City, LA who attends Airline. Medium, athletic build with present strength in frame with some room to fill out and quick twitch muscle. Strong runner, posted a 6.64 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on feet with short steps and attacks the ball, quick actions overall, short arm action with quick release, gets on top of the ball showing strength and carry with a higher slot and some effort at release. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and uses a small toe tap trigger for timing. Short path to the ball, gets to front side early at times but has a feel for the barrel and shows ability to hit to all fields. Lower hand set, does a nice job of repeating swing plane while generating bat speed through the zone. Very good student.
