Michael Farr is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Metuchen, NJ who attends St Joseph. Extra-large, athletic frame with long limbs and plenty of physical projection remaining on frame. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, slight hip turn at top of up tempo delivery, shows a long arm action with very good arm speed and a high three-quarter slot. Generates nice plane and works in the lower quadrants of strike zone with fastball that worked in 80-83 mph range and projects for more. Induces weak contact, is able to miss bats with slider that shows tight spin and sharp tilting life at 75 mph. Also hit from the right side, start with an upright stance and slightly open base. Low effort swing, creates some lift act contact. Slight wrap at top of swing, generates solid carry to all fields when arms get fully extended. Very good student. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
