Jackson Boss is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Walnut Grove HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with room for more. Side step delivery, full arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, will over stride at times out front causing his arm to drag coming through and for the ball to stay up in the zone. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight, significant velocity variance on fastballs, no evidence of 2-seam/4-seam movement but lower ranges may have been a firm change up. True slider is a quality pitch that he can use more often, keeps it low glove side well with tight spin and some short bite. Gaining more delivery consistency and thus command will be key in his development. 6.85 runner who shows good athleticism in the outfield with a similar long and loose arm action. Right handed hitter, short inside swing with mid field contact, simple swing approach that maximizes contact. Good student, signed with Abraham Baldwin College.
