Cole Smith is a 2020 SS/MIF with a 5-11 178 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Heritage. Showcased a medium frame with a strong, athletic build. Ran a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder showing very smooth actions. Rounds the baseball and then works through it cleanly with a sense of urgency. Very clean glove with range showing as well. Good feet while always under control. Range to both sides before showing off a strong arm across the diamond. Throws on the money. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance while spread out. Low foot drag and then strides out showing some bat wrap over the head after starting with low hands. Middle to pull side approach with bat speed showing. Uphill swing path showing good feel for the barrel as he made loud contact consistently. Nice and simple hacks showing to be repeatable. Outstanding Student.
