Kyle Cuellar is a 2016 2B/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Arcadia, CA who attends La Salle HS. Medium athletic build, projects well physically, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, high back elbow, big back side load, moves into contact well, smooth and fluid swing, has some uphill plane to his swing, not real strong yet but has a power type approach to drive the ball to right centerfield, projects as a hitter. 7.03 runner, is light on his feet and has nice infield actions and footwork, glove will down late occasionally, compact over the top arm action, solid arm strength for second base. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
