Adam Johnston is a 2016 2B/SS, 3B, RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Grand Bay, AL who attends Alma Bryant HS. Has a medium frame and an athletic build. 7.59 runner. From the infield, had solid actions and good lateral movements. Throws uphill, comes underneath the ball, topped 75 MPH across. Sat back on baseball, developing ability to work through ball. At the plate, right handed hitter with a standard stance. Arm heavy swing with an uphill bat path. Patient approach at the plate, doesn't chase ball out of the zone. Tendency to work around ball rather than through it. Also pitched, threw from high 3/4 arm slot with good extension. Occasional cut to fastball, throws strikes. Good student.
