Dalton Jackson is a 2018 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Mercersburg Academy. Recorded a 7.25 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with well-proportioned strength and size throughout. Primary outfielder with deliberate actions and fields to the side. Arm strength currently up to 79 mph across and has clean glove side mechanics. Secondary first baseman who graded out best at the position. Full arm action and turns well. Footwork is solid and throws were all accurate with good carry across. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and a wide base. High hand set with a high back elbow and creates good bat speed. Lofted swing plane with natural leverage in the swing. Strength through the point of extension and utilizes his lower half well. Intriguing power potential with loud pull side contact; exit velocity recorded up to 90 mph. Named to the 2017 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Great student.
