Alex Jensen is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows lateral range to both sides, quick feet, high release on throws, shows some strength on throws across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow. Upper body swing, short path to the ball, line drive swing plane, quick wrists, gets extension in swing and creates line drive contact to the middle of the field but can go with the outside pitch. Very good student.
