Joshua Terry is a 2016 SS/OF/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Austell, GA who is Home Schooled. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build and good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Sets up to hit with high hands and uses toe tap timing mechanism, simple approach to hitting with good barrel control. Stays inside the ball with quick hands, line drive plane with intent to spray line drives all over the field and get on base. Quick rotation in hips generates some strength off the barrel, made consistent solid contact to all fields. Advanced barrel control. Showed well defensively as well, with quick and athletic actions to the ball and clean hands. Shows good range to both sides and makes every play cleanly. Quick release across the diamond, shows solid accuracy with infield velocity clocked up to 73 MPH. Good student.
