George Agostini is a 2008 SS/3B with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Rehoboth, MA, who attends Dighton-Rehoboth HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Agostini has a medium build with athleticism and loose movements. Defensively he has soft hands and shows the ability to make the plays at all three fielding positions. Agostini has nice footwork that gets him in position well. He also has a solid arm strength wit accuracy. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an average base with a no load approach. He has quick hands and uses a short and compact swing. Agostini has bat speed through the hitting zone, and has solid line drive swing plane. He centers the ball well making consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field. He is also a patient hitter with a good understanding of the strike zone. He has upside to his game.
