William Sutherland is a 2016 C with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Lamar HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength, especially in the upper half. Right handed hitter, open stance with an early close, uppercut swing plane, tends to pull off his front side early, looking to pull and lift, has the strength to drive the ball when squared but will need to improve his swing plane. 7.42 runner, young catching actions, tends to stand up to throw, slow transfer, works hard blocking pitches. Very good student.
