2015 Mid Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Austin Romine is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Glen Allen, VA who attends Deep Run HS. Medium frame, broad shoulders, strong build, pretty mature but has room to fill in upper body. Over the head delivery, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and gets on top, quick arm with solid running life on fastball. Shows ability to work in and out with fastball, shows some sink. Curveball showed some bite, 11/5 shape. Changeup showed some fade and arm side run, has deceptiveness out of the same slot. Good three pitch mix, solid mound presence, has an idea of what he's doing. Excellent student. Named to Mid Atlantic Top Prospect List.
