Keegan Lessard is a 2017 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridgepoint HS. Slender young build on a medium frame, has broad shoulders and plenty of room to add strength. Comfortable and flexible set up behind the plate, young footwork, doesn't gain ground into his throws, does make accurate throws, 2.18 best pop time, will need to continue to work on lower half quickness, also plays some third base. Right handed hitter, exaggerated inside swing approach, looks to hit the ball to the opposite field, makes consistent contact but not ready to drive the ball yet. Also pitched, high energy delivery, not consistent yet in his mechanics and release point. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, has occasional sink and run. Some occasional 11/5 curveball depth, threw strikes and competed.
