Brett Esau is a 2016 3B/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Meadow Lake, SK who attends Foothills Composite HS. Tall, strongly built, proportioned frame with room to get stronger. Ran a 7.26 60 yard dash. Shows a quick release across the infield and takes short steps to the ball. Charges well and releases from a lower arm slot. Arm plays well. Bats right-handed, works from a wide base and flashes strength when he connects. Gets on his front foot, but performs well in game action. Flashes power to the middle of the field and pull side. Very good student.
