Alexei Cazarin is a 2017 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Centennial HS. Very slender and young build, minimal present strength. 6.86 runner, moves very well through the ball on defense with athletic balance and easy actions, hands are soft and quick, low throwing slot is almost sidearm at times but gets carry, throws well on the run, impressive defensively for his size and age. Right handed hitter, straight leg stance, busy low hand load, short contact oriented swing, mid field contact, some uppercut plane occasionally due to low hand load, lack of present strength impacts his bat speed but will improve. Defense will carry for now. Good student.
