Brett Basham is a very projectable 6'2/180 catcher/P from Knoxville, TN. He features an outstanding arm and quick feet. His swing is a bit long, but he does possess serious power potential. He seems to have a very good feel for the catching position. He's a high level college prospect with a MLB arm. Basham's arm strength and arm quickness make you wonder how good he would be on the mound. Brett is a good student as well.

Brett Basham -- Basham is a multi-tooled junior catcher who is sure to attract the attention of major college coaches and professional scouts. He has aggressive, polished actions behind the plate and can control a game defensively. Basham’s arm strength is big league average and he has quick feet, a smooth, accurate arm and he likes to throw. Basham’s game throws were just as quick as his workout pop times. Basham hits from a wide stance and generates very good bat speed with a level, strong swing. The ball jumped off his bat in BP and he projects to hit well down the road. Possible big time prospect! Brett is a good student.
