Christopher Rubottom is a 2017 SS/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Los Alamitos. Rubottom has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he works around the baseball well and has solid footwork to the baseball. Rubottom attacks the ball and moves well to both sides. He showed some arm strength up to 83 MPH with an efforty arm action. At the plate, Rubottom starts with a high hand set with his hands close to his body. He uses a leg lift trigger and drifts a bit to contact. Rubottom has a rotational swing and he has bat speed. He hit the ball hard in game action and glides on the base paths. Excellent student.
