Troy Saruna is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from West Bloomfield, MI who attends Bloomfield Hills Andover. Compact-medium, athletic frame with some quick-twitch elements. Good footspeed, posted a 6.81 60-yard dash. Speed plays well in the outfield, gets to balls in the gaps and is aggressive working to and through the baseball. Good arm strength, up to 85 mph in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, slightly open start with narrow feet base. Nice shift into contact, gets online and flashes good bat speed. Solid hand quickness and strength, at times can fly open a bit too early and get rotational, but has solid feel for the barrel and hitting tools are evident. Excellent student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
