Eduardo Rodriguez is a 2016 3B/C with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Everglades. Medium-large frame with excellent present build and strength throughout body. Hits from wide base with hands low and away from body. Swing will get rotational at times, but will flash ability to make hard contact and drive the baseball. Best consistent contact is to pull field, would develop more power with better utilization of lower half in swing. Worked out both in infield and behind the plate. Has 3B actions in IF, moves well side to side especially to glove side, fields out in front and throws accurately across the diamond up to 74 MPH. Works hard behind the plate, has some feel for blocking and controlling balls in dirt, popped as low as 2.06 down to 2B. Good student
