Marcus McCannel is a 2017 C/3B, RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Kirkland, WA who attends Eastside Catholic. McCannel has a big frame with a strong build. Defensively he has a high set up with an over the top release point on his pop throws. McCannel has some arm strength up to 74 MPH and made accurate on the bag throws. He has clean transfers with some catch and throw tools. At the plate, McCannel starts with a slightly open stance from and upright set. He has an aggressive approach and has some bat wrap. McCannel has some bat speed and the ball jumps of his bat some especially to left center field. He has some gap to gap pop with more power potential in there. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an efforty delivery. There's more velocity in there with a more directional delivery. Good student.
