Brandon Symmank is a 2016 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Ridge HS. Medium frame with a long lean build, plenty of room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional strength. Posted a 7.25 60 yard dash. From the infield, fields the ball out in front with athletic actions. Quick arm speed on throws with some short arm action, made accurate throws to bases. From the outfield, short steps to the baseball sitting back. Long loose arm action on strong accurate throws to bases. Will see even more arm strength as he continues to move through the baseball. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly closed stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Hands extend back on load transitioning into a full loose swing. Takes aggressive swings at the plate with good jump off the barrel. Good balanced throughout swing, projects very well. On the mound, throws from an over the top arm slot with long arm action. Fast paced delivery, works fast and goes right after hitters. Fastball has good running life and gets in on hitters. Curveball has late break and does a nice job of keeping hitters off balanced. Outstanding student. Named to South Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
