Jackson Pietig is a 2016 C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lee's Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit West HS. Medium build with some present strength in frame. Right handed hitter, tight hands set, rocking trigger, no stride into contact, able to repeat and shows feel for barrel. Short, quick swing, inconsistent timing, shows ability to spray balls across field, works well to middle of field. Looks the part behind the plate, solid receiving skills, shows solid footwork at times, gains ground, can get rushed every now and then, can stay lower in crouch more consistently. Long arm action, has solid arm strength. Tremendous student.
