Bryce Berter is a 2016 OF/1B/RHP with a 6-1 187 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball Memorial HS. Has a long lean build with room to fill out. Right handed hitter, hits from front of the box with a square stance. Mid field approach with a line drive swing plane and good extension through the ball. Barrel stays behind ball well and uses whole field. Shows good bat speed and barrel control. Primary OF, sure actions to ball, has a lower release from the OF, tends to get under ball at times, but ball shows present carry, will get more if he stays on top of throws. At first base, soft hands, fields out front with accurate arm. Also pitched, quick paced delivery with a medium arm action to 3/4 arm slot. Good extension out front. Stays online with delivery and mixed in 11/5 curevball and a slider with short break. Outstanding Student.
