Nico Ramicone is a 2016 2B/OF, SS, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Strongsville, OH who attends Strongsville. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength in frame. Good runner, posted a 6.86 60-yard dash time. Primary middle infielder, throws from a lower arm slot with a compact action in the back, fields out front and gets low, taller at release but accurate to bag. Longer release from the outfield, full arm action with similar release point, getting on top of throws will help continue to develop carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand and back elbow set. Upper body swing, short to the ball and generates interesting bat speed while showing the ability to hit to all fields. Line drive swing plane, keeps hands close to body, hard contact when squared off barrel. Good student.
