Christiaan Durdaller is a 2007 OF/P with a 6'3'', 170 lb. frame from Marietta GA, who attends Walton HS. He has a tall, lean athletic frame with a slim lower half that is very projectable. Durdaller looks more like a 2008 or even a 2009 prospect in his physical development. Durdaller didn't run the 60 but has live actions and an easy running stride. He showed very good arm strength from the outfield at 85 mph. He tends to drop his elbo on his throws but when he keeps his elbow and release point up, it makes a difference of 5-6 mph on his throws. Offensively, Durdaller hits with a close front side and has a smooth tension free swing that has very good lift and extension. He showed some power to right center field that's just going to grow as he gets stronger. Durdaller needs more strength to develop his bat speed but the mechanics and swing are there to be a very good hitter in the future. Keep a close eye on him, he could be a late developer. Durdaller is also a good student.
