Connor Winn is a 2008 MIF with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Suwanee GA, who attends Wesleyan HS. He has a medium build with some present strength. Winn was named to the showcase Top Prospect Team. He is a 6.91/4.32 runner who has quick feet and good speed and showed he could steal a base.. Winn profiles best at second base. He'll have plenty of range and his hands work well. His arm stroke and arm strength will take him off shortstop as the game gets faster. Offensively, Winn hits from a no stride approach with a hand hitch to get the bat going. He has a slashing line drive swing and some bat speed. Winn looks like he knows how to hit and can move the ball around to all fields. He has lots of the attributes that coaches are looking for in a #2 hole hitter. Winn is also a good student.

Connor Winn is a 2008 MIF with a 5'10'', 170 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA, who attends Wesleyan HS. Named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. Winn has a medium frame with athleticism. Defensively he has nice footwork and soft hands that allow him to make all the plays in the middle of the diamond. Winn made some great double plays in game action showing quick feet and a quick release. At the plate he is aright handed hitter who hits from an upright stance and takes a short stride. Winn has a line drive swing plane and makes solid contact and showed the ability to hit the ball back up the middle. His easy swing mechanics and contact approach will allow him to hit for a high average. Winn is smart on the bases, and shows great hustle in his game. On the mound he has a slinging arm action and a fastball that topped out at 74 mph. Winn has upside to his game as a position player and must be followed. He is also a good student.
