Johnny Ramos is a 2008 shortstop from Lodi HS in Lodi, New Jersey, with a lean, athletic 5'9"/160 pound frame. As a right handed hitter, Ramos has a good approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane. He is a very projectable hitter that makes consistent solid contact. Johnny showed good range and feet in the infield with a solid arm at 71 mph across the infield. He showed his versatility and athleticism by throwing a runner out at the plate from the outfield in game action.
