Gallardo is a 5-10, 175 lb. 2006 middle infielder from California with a strong frame. Gallardo has strong sloped shoulders. Defensively, Gallardo showed sound defensive actions and a nice quick release as a middle infielder. He showed solid arm strength as well. At the plate, Gallardo swings from the right side and starts from an open stance. He uses a knee turn trigger and stays tall through his swing. Gallardo swings hard and has good bat speed through the hitting zone. He showed good power and kept his hands inside the ball very well. Gallardo showed good bat control on his swings and looked extremely comfortable in the box. High energy type player.
